SEN Teacher
Brenda is an experienced Teacher who has had a varied career in the Education system. As well as working as a specialised Teacher of DT and ICT, she has been a Faculty Leader, an Assistant Tutorial Manager dealing with the support and intervention of under achieving pupils were she was in charge of the inclusion agenda for a unit that catered for children that had been excluded from PRU's. This involved the development and implementation of an SEN programme for other Teachers and support staff to drive social and academic growth and development of pupils with SEBD and ASD.
Brenda also worked for the Liverpool Council as a School Improvement officer and LA advisor for Secondary DT were she was responsible for providing high quality support to schools across Liverpool and securing continuous improvements in standards and achievement in all aspects of ICT and safeguarding relating to ICT. Brenda has recently completed a temporary role at Woodlands Centre which is Key Stage 3 and 4 SEBD referral Unit for excluded pupils. Brenda has a natural ability in dealing with challenging behaviour and is not phased by it.

Bernard is an experienced Special Needs Teacher who spent 20 years working at Mill Green Special School. SEN Teacher - EBD experience
Gail is a Primary and Middle School trained Teacher who has had extensive experience working with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Gail's last role was Head of Education at White House Park School, which was a residential and a day school for pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Here Gail worked with pupils with complex behavioural difficulties and aggressive and challenging behaviour and she has undertaken training to maximise her ability to deal with and manage escalating situations from pupils.
Gail has written, reviewed and assessed Individual Education and Behaviour plans and completed annual reviews. Gail has been involved in working with multi - agencies and reviews for Looked After Children.

Nicola is an Art and Design specialist who has previously held the position as Head of Art at Lampton School. Since relocating to the North West Nicola has worked on a long term contract at Chaigeley School, which is a charitable school for boys from Key Stage 2 - Key Stage 4 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. SEN ICT Teacher
Jennifer is a Secondary Trained ICT Teacher who qualified in 2010. Since qualifying Jennifer has worked in a wide range of settings including Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools. Jennifer has also been working with A4E (Action for Employment) which provides support and training for young people and adults not in employment. Through out this time, Jennifer has work with groups of adults and on one to one basis supporting people with finding work and training. Jennifer supported a gentleman with Moderate Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Difficulties and also supported another person aged 19 years on a one to one basis with Autism, ADD, Dyslexia and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

English, Drama and Geography Teacher
Julie qualified in 1994 specialising in English, Drama and Geography. Julie is a passionate Teacher who believes all lessons should cater for the full range of learning styles and ability levels so that all pupils may benefit and grow through learning.
During the past 2 years, Julie has been employed outside of the school environment as a caseworker with Rathbone, a National Learning Provider. Julie took this opportunity to gain experience in working with young people who had been excluded from mainstream education. During this time Julie has worked with young people aged between 12 and 19 years who or Not in Employment, Education or Training on both a one to one and small group basis. Julie experienced working with young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Challenging Behaviours and those with barriers to learning.

SEN/ICT Teacher
Adam previously worked at The Grange School in Manchester teaching pupils with ASD, Aspergers Syndrome, SLD and associated Learning Difficulties from 8 - 18 years. Here Adam experienced working with Challenging Behaviour and underwent physical intervention training. He gained a vast amount of experience with working with pupils with Learning Difficulties and differentiating lessons to cater for the individual needs of pupils with widely varying abilities. SEN Teaching Assistant
Rachel has had vast experience of working with children and adults with a wide range of needs. Rachel has worked at Palmerton Special School, which caters for pupils with a wide range of complex needs. Rachel has also worked at Greencorns, which is a residential education provider for children and young adults with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and extremely Challenging Behaviour.
For the last 10 years, Rachel has been a registered foster carer supporting children in her home for short term breaks. Through Barnardos she supported a young man with Cerebral Palsy and no verbal communication until he moved on to adult services.
At present, Rachel cares for a young boy with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome and complex health needs, providing all levels of care needed throughout his time with her. He experiences drop fits and his care involves tube feeding, oxygen, therapy, providing suction as and when needed and administration of regular and rescue medication.
Rachel is familiar with Makaton, PEC's, physical intervention and she has taken the Level 1 and 2 British Sign Language course.

Iona is a Primary trained Teacher who has gone onto focus her career working with pupils with Special Educational Needs. Iona spent 9 years working in an Orphange in Romania working with children to support all aspects of their development including education, social skills, play interaction, medical needs and care.
During her career Iona has worked with pupils across the SEN spectrum including MLD, SLD, PMLD, Physical Impairments, Cerebal Palsy, Chronic Illnesses, Down's Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Speech and Language Difficulties and ASD. Iona has also spent time teaching in a specialist Autistic Unit. She is also a qualified Play Therapist.

Primary SEN Teacher
Sonia is Primary Trained Teacher confident in teaching both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils. SEN Teacher
Liz is a very experience Special Needs Teacher who spent 17 years working at Rudheath High School as a Special Needs Teacher and then as the SENCO. Rudheath High School is a mainstream school, which has a high proportion of pupils with Learning Difficulties and additional needs. Here, Liz has experience teaching a number of subjects to pupils with a wide range of Learning Difficulties including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Downs Syndrome, Speech and Language Difficulties, Autism,. Aspergers Syndrome, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, ADHD, ADD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder.
During her time at Rudheath High School, Liz developed an alternative curriculum for Key Stage 4 pupils using ASDAN and X1 to provide suitable challenges and to support pupils to make progress socially and educationally.

Nicky is a Science specialist who also teaches ICT and Humanities. Nicky has 9 years experience teaching in Special Schools. She has worked at Massey Hall School and Egerton High School, both schools catered for pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.
Nicky has the ability to plan creative lessons with appropriate differentiation for the individual needs of the pupils, which are motivating and challenging whilst maintaining a suitable environment conducive for teaching and learning. SEN Teacher
Irene has focussed her career on teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs. Irene has worked with both Primary and Secondary aged pupils from 3 years to post 16. Irene has a versatile approach to teaching and adapts her teaching styles to the individual needs of the pupils she works with.
From 2000 - 2009, Irene worked for the Department of Education in Ireland working with two Special Schools. Irene has completed a Diploma in Special Needs Teaching and she has recently completed a Higher Diploma in Psychology, to aid her with understanding the needs of pupils and behaviour. During this time, Irene has undergone training on a strategy for behaviour management called Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Lisa has recently completed a Primary PGCE at Liverpool Hope University. During her PGCE, Lisa completed placements at Broad Oak Primary School and Clarendon Road Community Primary School, where she taught Year 2 and Year 3 respectively. Lisa gained experience working in a challenging environment and developed skills to assist her with classroom management. As well as teaching pupils with behavioural difficulties, Lisa supported pupils with Autism, Delayed Development, Learning Difficulties and English as an Additional Language.
Lisa's observation reports comment on her good subject knowledge and her strengths in Maths and English as well as providing creative lessons using her background with Art.
Prior to embarking on her Teaching career, Lisa worked at Grange School in Manchester. This is a Special School catering for Primary, Secondary and Post 16 pupils with Autism as well as pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties, Physical Impairment, Speech and Language Difficulties and non verbal communication and challenging behaviour. Here, Lisa received training on PEC'S, physical intervention, sensory training and behaviour management. Lisa gained a wide range of experience supporting the individual needs of pupils.
Lisa has very good references one of which comments on Lisa's 'good relationships with pupils, noting that they were motivated by her teaching' and 'she was experienced in spotting warnings signs and verbally calming children if necessary'.

Kim is Primary Teacher who has spent the last 12 years managing her own business providing one to one support and tuition to both Primary and Secondary aged pupils who are underachieving or have Additional Learning Needs.
Kim possesses recent experience and expertise in raising levels of academic achievement and improving Emotional and Behavioural wellbeing of children including those with ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Dyslexia.
Kim also won an award for a paper submitted on 'The importance of Multi Sensory teaching to the brain' and she is an accredited Dyslexia Specialist and a user of the Orton Gillingham method.

Martin is a Secondary trained Religious Studies specialist who has extensive experience teaching SEN pupils. As well as teaching his specialist subject, Religious Studies, Martin has also taught English on long term positions and a range of other subjects across the National Curriculum. Martin has also worked with both Primary and Secondary aged pupils and he has lots of experience working with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.
Martin has spent much of his career teaching SEN pupils in both mainstream and SEN schools. Martin has worked in a number of EBD schools, Pupil Referral Units and a Secure Unit for Young Offenders including Nugent House School, Red Bank Secure Unit and Impact Key Stage 4 PRU.

Katherine has gained a wide variety of teaching experience since completing her PGCE in 1990. Her last employment was at Four Oaks Primary School working in the Speech and Language Unit attached to the school. Here, Katherine taught pupils across Key Stage1 and Key Stage 2 with Speech and Language Difficulties, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism and Challenging Behaviour.
Katherine has also worked at West Kirby Residential School, a special school where she was responsible for teaching boys with a variety of problems mainly Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Post Traumatic Stress, they had suffered significant delays in the learning as a consequence of this.
Previous to this Katherine also taught at Nugent House School which is a special school for boys aged 8 to 16 years with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.

SEN Teacher
Fionnuala is a Secondary Trained Religious Studies Teacher who has focussed her career on teaching pupils with Learning Difficulties.
Fionnuala has spent a number of years teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and her main area of expertise lies in teaching children with Severe and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Cerebral Palsy and Visual Impairment. Fionnuala worked as a Specialist Teacher for Stockport Council for teaching and supporting children with Visual Impairment in mainstream and SEN schools.
Fionnuala has also undertaken additional training to support her passion for working with children with Special Education Needs - this includes a Diploma in Special Education and an Advanced Diploma in Multi Sensory Impairment.

SEN Art Teacher
Tammy is a Secondary Trained Art Teacher who has a passion for working with Special Needs pupils. Tammy qualified in 1996 and after a career break to raise her family, she completed a Return to Teaching course in 2009. Tammy specifically chose to do her Return to Teaching placement in an SEN school due to her own personal experiences of home educating her son who has Severe Autism. Tammy did her placement at Inscape House in Salford and she has since worked a number of SEN schools on a supply basis.
Tammy has a real passion for working with pupils with Autism due to her own experience. She also has a range of experience teaching pupils with Moderate Learning, Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Physical Impairment, Speech and Language Difficulties and Downs Syndrome. Tammy also has a knowledge of basic signalong, knowledge and use of PEC's and Visual Supports and she is also familiar with Teacch and the ASDAN Curriculum. Jennifer is a Secondary Trained Business Studies Teacher who has a keen interest in working with SEN pupils. Jennifer has worked in a Special School in Glasgow which catered for Secondary pupils with a wide range of a learning Difficulties such as SLD, PMLD, Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Jennifer is familiar with Individual Education Plans, PEC's, Makaton, Teacch and ASDAN Curriculums. Jenny has also worked with Pre School Children and she has recently worked at Grange School in Rusholme for Justteachers, where she has received extremely positive feedback and the school have noted strengths particularly within more sensory groups.
Jenny has also recently completed a Master of Education looking at frameworks for understanding learning, particularly focussing on pre school children.

Kate is a Primary trained Teacher who specialised in Special Educational Needs in her degree course.
Kate has experience working with children across the age ranges with a wide range of Learning Difficulties including ASD, Down's Syndrome, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, Physical Impairment, Speech and Language Difficulties, EBD and Challenging Behaviour. Kate's interest in working with pupils with additional needs came after doing a placement whilst at college working in a day centre for people (aged 19 plus) with a range of Learning Difficulties. She then went on to work as a Teaching Assistant whilst at University. She regularly worked at Cavendish School working with pupils with SLD, PMLD and complex and medical needs. Kate has also volunteered for a number of years at a local sports club where she teaches gymnastics to children with a range of Learning Difficulties. Kate is continually looking to expand her knowledge and experience and she is undertaken the Level 1 British Sign Language Course.

Art SEN Teacher
Molly is an Art and Design Specialist. In the last 12 months Molly has gained lots of experience with Special Needs Pupils and also teaching in Primary schools. Whist working in Australia, Molly spent the majority of her time working at Wairoa School which caters for pupils aged 4 - 19 years with a wide range of complex Learning Difficulties. Molly is familiar with IEP's, PEC's, basic Makaton and she has undertaken speech therapy training.

SEN/Food Tech and Textiles Teacher
As a Food Technology Teacher at Frodsham College, Katherine has used Food Technology to engage students completing the ASDAN course. Katherine was a mentor for a 'looked after child', this came about as a result of Katherine's approachability and the fact the child made a connection to her. She was asked by the SENCO to take on the role in a formal manner, this included providing a safe place should things go wrong in classes, and being the first contact when the 'Time out Card' was used.
In her classes, Katherine had a number of students with ADHD, Asperger's and Autism. She worked closely developing alternative curriculum to be inclusive of these children's needs. Katherine has also completed a long term position at Horizon House PRU in Warrington, where she was working with KS4 pupils excluded from mainstream school. Here, Katherine has experienced working with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.
Katherine moderates her programmes to include each student should it be necessary. She incorporates the information given to her by the SEN team using the IEP's and takes an active role when these are written.

ART/SEN Teacher
Ruth is an Art trained Teacher, however during her teaching career she has taught across a wide range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and ICT. Ruth has many years of experience working with Special Needs pupils and she has focused her career on working with young offenders and pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Ruth has also recently completed a refresher in TEAM TEACH physical intervention training.
Primary SEN Teachers
Susan is a Primary Trained Teacher who has had lots of experience working with SEN pupils having worked in a number of SEN schools. Susan spent 4 years working at Wargrave House with pupils with Autism, Communication Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Here Sue underwent lots of training to assist her with the most effective teaching methods for the children she was working with. The training included PECs, TEACCH, POPAT and more recently Makaton whilst at WASC.

Shawn is seeking employment in a primary or SEN school where he can help students grow as learners. Shawn has two years experience in Asia teaching ESL and four years experience doing behaviour therapy with Autistic pre-school children. SEN Teacher/Teaching Assistant
Barry is a Teacher who is initially looking for Teaching Assistant work after a career break. Barry has lots of experience working with pupils across the SEN spectrum including ASD, Speech and Language Difficulties, Downs Syndrome, Celebral Palsy, MLD, SLD, PMLD, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Barry completed a Masters Degree in Education and Specialised in Special Education and his focus for his degree was Autism.
Barry spent 7 years working for AMAC - Association of Metro Area Autistic Children. Here, Barry gained an indepth understanding of working with children with varying levels of Autism and related Learning Difficulties, how to manage behaviour and the needs of each individual pupil.

Karen completed her Teaching Degree in 1979 and after having a career as Cabin Crew, Karen returned to teaching in 2005. Teaching Assistant
Michelle has recently qualified as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant. Michelle completed her student placement at Grappenhall Hall School which caters for pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Here, Michelle experienced the demands and rewards of working with pupils with Challenging Behaviour. Michelle loved her time at Grappenhall Hall School and she is now looking for a similar position where she can further put into practice the skills she has developed on her placement. Michelle is confident individual who is not phased by challenging behaviour.

PE/Humanities and SEN Teacher
Barry is a Qualified PE and Humanities Teacher who can also teach Physics. Barry has experience working in both mainstream and SEN schools.
Barry completed a long term position working at Mill Green Special School where he worked with pupils with a wide range of complex Learning Difficulties such as MLD, SLD, PMLD, ASD, Downs Syndrome, Physical Impairment, EBD and Challenging Behaviour. Barry also worked at Dyson Hall/ Gladstone Secure Unit, initially on a supply basis before being taken on a permanent contract. Dyson Hall was a provision for Young Offenders and here Barry experienced working with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour and Mental Health Issues. Barry continued to work at the Unit until its closure in 2006. Barry has excellent references from his time at Dyson Hall, which state he had 'excellent relationships with pupils and he earned the respect of the pupils', he was 'always well prepared' and he 'contributed a great deal to the Unit and showed himself to be a highly effective Teacher'.
Barry then took a focus on the family business again and after a break in his Teaching career, he is looking to return to the Education sector
Maths/SEN Teacher
Nandini is a Maths Teacher who has over 10 years teaching experience. Nandini has spent the last few years of her career working in SEN Schools and she has gained lots of experience working with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Nandini has completed long term positions at Meade Hill School, The Together Trust and Castle Hill School where she has worked with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with Moderate Learning, EBD and Challenging Behaviour. Nandini completed Team Teach training in November 2008.
Nandini has more recently been building her experience across the SEN spectrum and she has been working at schools such a Pictor School and Delamere School working with a wide range of complex Learning Difficulties.
Nandini is currently looking for a position working in an SEN school.
Maths/ICT/SEN Teacher
Raka is an ICT trained Teacher whose secondary subject is Maths. Raka has taught Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in ICT and Business Studies and Maths to GCSE. The Curriculums that Raka has followed include Edexcel Level 3, AQA Examinations Board, Applied GCSE Business Studies, National Strategy, OCR GCSE and AVCE and Key Skills.
Raka has worked at Parklands High School in Speke, which has some extremely challenging behaviour. The school is considered to be one of the most challenging schools in the country to work at and is police patrolled. Raka really enjoyed her time working at Parklands High School and it is here her interest began in working with EBD pupils and those with challenging behaviour.
Raka went onto write two books - a Supply Teachers handbook and Anger Management in the classroom published in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
Raka is keen to develop her career working with SEN pupils and she is particularly interested in working with pupils with Emotional and Behaviour Difficulties and she also has a keen interest in working with pupils with Autism.
Raka is available immediately for both short and long term positions.
PE/SEN Teacher
PE Specialist Jane has keen interest in Special Educational Needs teaching after completing a long term contract in an SEN department in a mainstream school. During her time working in the SEN department, Jane taught a wide range of subjects including English, History, Geography, Citizenship, Maths and Science. This post and her previous role as a carer has sparked Jane's interest in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and this is where she is looking for focus her career. Jane has completed a long term position at Lansbury Bridge School working with pupils of all ages with a wide range of Learning Difficulties. Jane has received excellent feedback from her time at the school.

SEN Teacher
Experienced SEN Teacher Sue, has worked with pupils across the SEN spectrum. She has experience working across the age ranges with pupils with a range of learning difficulties including MLD, SLD, PMLD, ASD, Visual and Hearing Impairment, EBD and Challenging Behaviour.
Throughout her roles Sue has undertaken various training to assist her in providing lessons suitable to the needs of her pupils. The courses Sue has attended include TEACCH, TEAM TEACH, PECS, SKIP, ASDAN training and Aqa units.
Sue has very positive feedback from the schools she has worked at for us and she has passion for working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Maths/SEN Teacher
Deborah is a Maths Specialist who has a varied background in her teaching career. Deborah has worked at schools in affluent areas as well as working at some very challenging mainstream schools. Deborah has also spent time teaching Maths in Special Needs School such as Windlehurst School and Northumberland High School, both of which cater for pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Deborah has also spent some time at Manor High School teaching pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
Deborah's strengths as a Teacher are due to her structured lessons, setting boundaries for pupils as well as liaising with TA's and colleagues to provide an effective environment for learning and good classroom management.
Deborah enjoys working with pupils with challenging behaviour. Deborah is looking for a part time position, 2/3 days per week preferably working in an SEN school.
ICT/SEN Teacher
Sian is a Newly Qualified ICT Teacher. Sian has been working on a long term position at Penkford School where she has been working with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Sian has worked mainly as a Teaching Assistant at Penkford School, more recently the school has been calling on Sian's skill as a Teacher. Sian has also been Team Teach trained.
Sian completed a student placement at a Special School for pupils with EBD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Challenging Behaviour. This placement sparked Sian interested in working with SEN pupils.
Sian is currently looking for a long term position from September to complete her induction period, ideally working with SEN pupils.
Special Needs Teacher
Gareth is an highly experienced Secondary teacher who's specialist subject is English, and during his extensive career in Secondary, Gareth was the Head of English for many years. Gareth joined justteachers in June 2008 having taken early retirement to spend more time travelling with his wife. During this time Gareth has always worked in Special Needs where his wonderful manner and experience has been valuable in helping children of all ages and learning abilities. Gareth has undertaken many short term positions within Special Needs during this time and more recently he has completed a long term assignment at Corley Centre where he is a popular and regular supply teacher.
Primary SEN Teacher
Sarah is a Newly Qualified Primary Teacher who has recently completed her PGCE. Sarah has completed placements at two challenging Primary Schools in Newcastle, where she taught Year 6 and Year 4 classes. Sarah experienced teaching pupils with Challenging Behaviour as well as a high percentage of EAL pupils, those which ADHD and Autism. Sarah used her knowledge from her previous position at Hope School to develop behaviour strategies and reward systems to engage and motivate pupils.
Prior to doing her PGCE Sarah worked as a Teaching Assistant at Hope Special School which caters for pupils 3 - 19 years with a wide range of complex Learning Difficulties including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Downs Syndrome, Severe, Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Physical Impairment, Speech and Language Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Here, Sarah has gained knowledge and training on PEC's, Signalong, Hoisting, Peg feeding and behaviour management.
Sarah's University reference states 'I have rarely seen a class of children enjoy themselves for the full lesson as like I did today. There was so much going on and so well organised with Music and pictures on the IWB, lots of interaction and every sense stimulated. Just to watch the children learning in this way with such delighted faces was a joy.' One of the references says 'She has a fantastic presence in the classroom, very upbeat, dynamic and enthusiastic and there was not one moment when any child was off task'.
Sarah is looking to focus her career in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs. She is ideally looking for a long term position from September.
Primary SEN Teacher
Alison is a Primary trained Newly Qualified Teacher who specialised in Special Educational Needs in her degree course.
Alison volunteered at Mill Green Special School from 2004 - 2009 and then once she completed her Teacher training degree Alison was taken on a temporary contract as a Key Stage 2 Teacher. During her time working at Mill Green School, Alison has gained experience working with children across the age ranges with a wide range of Learning Difficulties including ASD, Down's Syndrome, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, Physical Impairment, Speech and Language Difficulties, EBD and Challenging Behaviour. Alison is familiar with PECS and Makaton.
Her references state 'she has a calm supportive manner with the children and they respond well to this appearing secure in their learning' and 'she has a definite affinity with pupils with special needs, has experience of this and this is where her strength lies.'

Judith is a Primary trained teacher with a range of experience of working with Special Needs pupils. Judith completed her NQT period in December 2005 whilst teaching at The Elms School which caters for pupils with a range of Severe Learning Difficulties. Judith has focussed her career so far working with SEN pupils and she has experience working with Learning Difficulties across the SEN spectrum. Judith has also completed training on Team Teach, ASD, SEAL, Signalong. She is also familiar with PECS's, PIVATS, P scales, Equals, ASDAN and Teacch.
Experienced Teacher of Early Years and KS1
Lubna is an experienced teacher of Foundation Stage and KS1 and a Home School Liaison. She is a reliable and trustworthy teacher trained in Ruth Miskin and has delivered the 'Read Write Inc' programme to Foundation and Year 2. Her assertive manor has helped Lubna to build up sound relationships with parents and she is keen to use bi-lingual skills to develop parents' understanding of their partnership with school.

Teaching Assistant
Christine has recently completed a temporary position working at Manor High School in Altrincham. Here Christine worked with pupils aged 11 - 18 years with Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Christine worked in the Autistic Unit of the school and well as the main body of the school. Christine has excellent references which state they would 'absolutely re-employ', that Christine has 'a high ability and more than capable of using own initiative, has extensive experience of MLD, EBD and children with ASC'. She also has an excellent conduct and attendance record.
SEN/ICT Teacher
Andrea is an ICT trained Teacher who in the last 3 years has focused her career on working with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. Since 2006 Andrea has worked in two Pupil Referral Units in Manchester where she has taught ICT, English, Media and Basic Skills in Literacy and Numeracy. Andrea is competent in a variety of software applications and programs including Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, FrontPage, Traffic Lights Logo, CAD/CAM, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Flash.
Andrea's commitment to a pupil centred approach encourages her to constantly develop her knowledge and understanding of pedagogical theory and practice. Andrea encourages all pupils from SEN to gifted and talented to stretch their abilities and imagination and help pupils to appreciate the importance of ICT. Andrea is constantly finding innovative ways of making sure pupils are confident in using ICT so that they can apply their skills across the curriculum.

Janet has 34 years teaching experience, the last 3 years have been spent at an International School in Portugal. She is PE/History trained but has taught Food Technology and Health and Social Care for the last 4 years.
